Each new year I have always have a set of goals or a list of things I would like to accomplish during the course of the year. This year I broke down my 2018 goals into three categories, personal, career and blogging goals.
– Post at least 3 times a week on the blog. I have been terrible about consistently posting. Once again, I underestimated having a full time job and a baby. I plan on doing at least 2 outfit posts during the week.
-Introduce menswear looks at least once a week. This is a work in progress, but hope to get it going by February.
-Being more present, which involves putting my phone down. I have been putting my phone upstairs when I come home from work and making a conscious effort to be more present during the time I spend with my husband and our son.
-Maintaining a healthier lifestyle. I have been pretty terrible when it comes to my lunches during the week and have also been slacking on working out. I thought joining a gym would solve the problem, however, I underestimated working full time and being a parent. I have been meal planning and have come to realize that I missed cooking. I also purchased a new lunch bag because I truly needed one and I also wanted new motivation to pack my lunch.
-Working out at least 3 times a week.
-Work on passing the CPA. For those that are fairly new to reading the blog, I have a full time day job as well outside of blogging. Passing the Certified Public Accounting (CPA) exam is something I need to do because it will be helpful in my career growth. Not to mention its something that I have been working on on and off for a few years now. I will be updating my progress on the blog every 2 weeks (here).
